Lt. Gen. Scott Black Joins Leonie Board of Directors

ARLINGTON, Va. — Leonie Industries, a U.S. government services provider specializing in communications and cultural advisory work, today announced that Lt. Gen. Scott Black (U.S. Army, Retired) has joined its Board of Directors.

Lt. Gen. Lt. Gen. Scott C. Black (U.S. Army, Retired) is currently Chief Executive Officer, MagPly, Inc.  Previously, as Vice President and General Manager with BAE Systems, Inc., he led the company’s global mission solutions business unit. General Black served as the Judge Advocate General of the Army from 2005 to 2009, supervising the worldwide delivery of full-spectrum legal services in support of 1.2 million Soldiers and recruiting, training and leading 10,000 attorneys and paralegals in 650 offices in 19 countries. His awards include the Distinguished Service Medal, Legion of Merit with Oak Leaf Cluster, Meritorious Service Medal with four Oak Leaf Clusters, Army Commendation Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster and the Army Achievement Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster. He is also entitled to wear the Parachutist Badge, the Ranger Tab and the Army Staff Identification Badge.

General Black is a graduate of California Polytechnic State University; and holds an M.S. from the National Defense University as well as a J.D. from the California Western School of Law in San Diego.
